Most people reading this probably won’t realise that I used to run www.randomusings.com, but my server expired earlier this year because I decided against spending another hundred USD just to keep it running. But I guess I still need some place where I can periodically rant about completely random stuff which doesn’t involve my daily life, because I really want this to be a completely separate blog from my personal one.
I tried importing posts from the past which I backed up from Random Musings but I either can’t find the most recent backup or I didn’t backup right before the server shut down. Anyway, I’m stuck with posts dated prior to September 2007, which is about when I stopped updating so regularly anyway, so not much lost.
I’ll see how it goes from here, I’m quite sure I’ll leave this blog on wordpress servers instead of getting another domain, since it’s really quite pointless. I’ll do some cleaning up of the pages and perhaps the posts in the near future, but I’m not in the mood to do deal with housekeeping issues right now.
